Senior DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to join our innovative and fast-growing startup poised to transform the risk assessment industry. Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure across major cloud platforms to support our high-demand applications. Manage and optimize container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker, ensuring efficient deployment and operation of services. Drive the adoption of FinOps practices to optimize cloud spending and resource utilization. Develop automation strategies to enhance continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless, scalable, and robust application performance. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, promoting a culture of technical excellence and innovation. About You: A proactive team player adept at navigating high-pressure environments to deliver outstanding results. Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, with extensive knowledge of managing infrastructure in large-scale environments. Proficiency with all major cloud providers, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes. A strong understanding of financial operations in cloud environments (FinOps) and experience with cost optimization strategies. A passion for building scalable applications and systems that can handle the demands of rapid business growth. Advantages: Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible. Familiarity with security practices and compliance in cloud environments. Practical experience with Python. Experience with databases and search engines such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch.
