Senior FPGA Developer
Overview We’re looking for a skilled and motivated FPGA Engineer to join our team and take part in developing NextVision imaging solutions for small UAVs and drones. Responsibilities Take part in all aspects of camera system development. Implement hardware and HDL-based camera functions. Support algorithm definition and optimization. Perform performance validation and system bring-up. Support handoff to production. Qualifications B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in hardware and FPGA development. Proficiency in VHDL. Experience in C programming. Familiarity with MATLAB – an advantage. Solid understanding of build flows and debug methodologies for Altera/Xilinx FPGAs. Proven design experience with ARM-based SoC systems – an advantage. Practical experience in PCB-level debugging and troubleshooting. Experience with standard processor peripherals such as SPI, UART, I2C, etc. Familiarity with high-speed industry-standard protocols such as MIPI, HDMI, etc. Experience in imaging system development – an advantage. Proactive, can-do approach to multidisciplinary challenges.
