About the Role As part of Pagaya’s Risk Management team, you will be a part of a pivotal, growing organization within the company. The Risk Management department’s mission is to analyze, review, and mitigate risk in decision making processes across Pagaya. As part of your role, you will: Support the fair lending lifecycle including monitoring credit underwriting policies for disparate impact and conducting demographic portfolio analyses. Maintain regulatory compliance reporting and partner with cross-functional teams to identify risks and implement less discriminatory alternatives, as well as providing thorough documentation of all of the above. Own end-to-end data products, from extracting raw data from complex datasets to developing sophisticated analyses, monitoring systems, and reports using Python, SQL, and other analytical tools. Translate complex data models into actionable business intelligence with the goal of improving modeling, business understanding, and strategic decision making, as well as clearly communicating complex findings to partners, internal stakeholders, and management. Partner with cross-functional teams across research, operations, product, and engineering to proactively identify and manage risks associated with new models and/or policies Continuously broaden your knowledge of Pagaya's operational, business, and technological landscape and identify and execute high-value initiatives that contribute to the company's strategic goals. Leverage AI-driven tools to automate workflows and drive operational efficiency across the team Requirements 5+ years experience processing and analyzing data using Python (pandas, seaborn, etc.); SQL a must 5+ years experience in banking, finance, or other relevant data-driven roles within an international organization, preferably in one or more of the following areas: credit risk modeling, fair lending analysis, financial consulting, business analytics, or relevant data operations B.A/M.A/MBA graduate (Economics, Statistics, Finance or similar quantitative disciplines) with an exceptional academic track record Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proven track record of identifying operational deficiencies, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing effective, sustainable mitigation strategies Very high level of English (verbal and written), including the ability to write and present articulated documentation and processes in English. The role requires daily proficiency in both Hebrew and English - written and spoken. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and get things done Proven aptitude for independent learning and a strong capacity to translate new knowledge into practical, day-to-day organizational value Advantage Proficiency in coding and other data science related disciplines Experience in banking, credit risk or other financial companies Proven experience in financial data modeling Experience in data visualization tools such as Looker/Tableau, etc. Experience in Fintech, or other relevant data-driven companies Experience with US Banking regulations, including Fair Lending laws a plus Our Team Pagaya was founded in 2016 by seasoned research, finance, and technology entrepreneurs, and we are now 500+ strong in New York, Los Angeles, and Tel Aviv.
