Why this role is for you In this role you will balance leadership, architecture design, and hands on execution. You will play a pivotal role in managing, upgrading, and monitoring our cloud based infrastructure, collaborating closely with development teams, architects, and product stakeholders to maintain top tier performance, scalability, and security across the entire Yad2 ecosystem, while championing our GitOps methodology. What you will be doing Manage a team of DevOps engineers, supporting their professional growth, setting methodologies, and prioritizing tasks Own, maintain, upgrade, and monitor our modern production and non production environments based on high traffic cloud infrastructure Act as a bridge between R&D, Architects, and Product teams to align infrastructural capabilities with business needs Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices to shorten delivery cycles, ensuring consistent infrastructure management and automated, reproducible deployments across all environments Build and manage infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Serverless architectures, Microservices, and Terraform Your skills and experience 4+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer in high-scale cloud environments Deep production experience with Docker and Kubernetes Solid practical background in managing and maintaining Linux environments Extensive experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud services Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Prior experience as a DevOps Team Lead, or strong experience mentoring junior and mid-level engineers Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (such as Prometheus, etc.) Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform Strong communication skills, a strong sense of ownership, and proven leadership capabilities Why join us At Yad2, we are more than just a platform; we are the hand that helps you move forward through life's most pivotal moments, while driving the entire Israeli market.
