Mechanical Design Engineer (Tooling)
We are looking for For Elbit Cyclone site in Bar-Lev Industrial Zone we are looking for a Mechanical Designer for the Tooling and Fixtures domain This position offers the opportunity to take part in the design of advanced aerospace tooling, contributing to the development and production of high-end aerospace systems in a leading defense company with meaningful technological impact In this role you will Design tools and fixtures for aerospace products Provide engineering support to project setup teams for manufacturing tooling aspects Collaborate with customers in Israel and abroad Maintain tooling design versions in the PLM system Work independently or as part of a team while meeting project, schedule, and quality requirements Be responsible from the concept stage through serial production Prepare and present tooling design reviews Work with various engineering disciplines Support subcontractors during tooling production and provide solutions to arising issues Support periodic audits Define and write maintenance and repair instructions for tools Requirements B.Sc. in Engineering (Mechanical or Aeronautical) At least 3 years of experience in mechanical design Familiarity with manufacturing technologies - Advantage Experience in tooling design - Significant advantage Knowledge and understanding of GD&T Proficiency in CATIA environment - Advantage Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, broad system view, and self-learning ability Ability to focus and lead tasks in a multi-tasking and multi-interface environment Determination to meet goals Strong analytical skills Only relevant applications will be answered
