Senior Backend Engineer – PaymentApps Senior Backend Engineer Job Description: Develop and lead Backend solutions for cross-border payment systems. Design, build, and implement reliable, secure, and scalable Backend solutions. Lead technical initiatives to modernize existing systems and transition to a cloud-based, event-driven architecture. Develop and implement new solutions while ensuring system availability, performance, and security. Collaborate closely with Architecture, Product, Security, and Operations teams. Integrate AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, debugging, and problem-solving. Requirements: 6+ years of experience in Backend development using C# and/or Node.js. 6+ years of experience with advanced SQL (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). 6+ years of experience working with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB. Experience building SaaS platforms and cloud-based products. Experience with Containers and Kubernetes. Experience with Event-Driven Architecture (EDA). Experience with Message Brokers such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka. Experience developing Microservices. Experience integrating AI tools into software development workflows to improve productivity and code quality. B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent education.
