Description Quantum Source is making scalable, useful quantum computers a reality. We are a young, dynamic, and extraordinary multidisciplinary company that combines the skills of quantum physics, optics, mechanical engineering, hardware, firmware, and software. Quantum source is looking for an experienced Electro Optical Eng. In this position you will be working in a multi-disciplinary team of physicists and engineers in field of photonics, mechanics, hardware and system integration. You will oversee implementation and automation of testing procedures, as well as integration of opto-mechanical systems. Requirements Formal training in Electro-Optic or M.Sc. in Physics or Diploma in related field 5 years experience of working in optics and/or Opto-mechanics lab. Experience with lab test equipment – oscilloscope, tunable laser, waveform generator, etc. Experience in opto-mechanical assembly – translation stages, optical fibers, free-space optics, gluing processes. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical systems Delicate and Accurate assembly of opto-mechanical components Operate micro-mechanics assembly machines Oversee lab operations and maintenance
