System Engineer for Helmet Mounted Systems - Inertial Technologies
We are looking for a System Engineer to join our Head Systems Domain – Hybrid and Inertial Technologies at Elbit Systems' Haifa site, within the Aerospace division. Our domain focuses on developing advanced system architectures that integrate inertial components with cutting-edge technologies, supporting products such as airborne head-mounted systems (Augmented/Mixed Reality), UAVs, and other complex platforms. This is your opportunity to take part in shaping the next generation of hybrid and inertial technologies that make a real impact on defense and aerospace systems worldwide. In this role you will Characterize and develop inertial boards and components Characterize and develop calibration and testing processes for inertial components Integrate within multidisciplinary system engineering teams working on complex systems combining different technology domains Contribute to the design and validation of hybrid inertial solutions across diverse platforms Requirements B.Sc. in Engineering or Exact Sciences M.Sc. in Engineering or Exact Sciences - Advantage At least 5 years of experience in characterization and implementation of systems or sub-systems Experience in characterization and implementation of sensing, tracking, or navigation systems and technologies - Advantage Experience in characterization and implementation of inertial components - Advantage Experience in developing tracking and navigation algorithms - Advantage Proficiency in Matlab or Python and experience with AI agents High level of English Willingness to travel abroad System-level thinking, strong technical analysis skills and ability to learn and work independently Only relevant applications will be answered
