Senior Backend Developer Caesarea, Israel About the Job We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our software development team. The role includes designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and system-level components in a multi-platform environment, with a focus on performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability. The ideal candidate is a strong senior developer with hands-on experience in C# / .NET, comfortable working on both Windows and Linux, and able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience using AI-assisted software development tools is also required as part of the modern development workflow. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend software components and services. Work with C# / .NET in Windows and Linux environments. Participate in architecture and technical design discussions. Develop reliable, scalable, and maintainable backend solutions. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software issues. Work closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, product managers, and system engineers. Review code and provide technical guidance to other developers. Contribute to software quality, testing, documentation, and release processes. Support integration with external systems, devices, protocols, or infrastructure components. Use modern development tools, including AI-assisted development tools, to improve productivity and software quality. Promote best practices in software development, code quality, and system design. Requirements At least 5 years of hands-on backend development experience. Strong experience with C# / .NET. Experience developing software for Windows environments. Experience developing software for Linux environments. Strong understanding of backend architecture, APIs, services, and system integration. Experience with multi-threading, networking, file systems, and performance-sensitive applications. Experience using AI-assisted software development tools as part of the development workflow, including code generation, code review, debugging support, refactoring, and technical documentation. Ability to analyze complex technical problems and provide practical solutions. Experience with source control systems, preferably Git. Good understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, and release processes. Strong communication skills. Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks. Advantages Experience or ability to lead other developers or manage technical activities. Education in Electrical Engineering.
