Job Description We are looking for a Front-End Team leader, focusing on React, who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include leading frontend developers in several Scrum teams in Israel and offshore. Working with the product team and backend team to understand the requirements, select the technologies, define framework design and lead the frontend developers. Products include ecommerce, marketing automation journey builder, and video personalization. XMPie provides its employees an agile and friendly environment of a small company – but is backed by the resources and sales power of its mother company, Xerox. We are searching for team players who are enthusiastic about their work, able to do rapid development while focusing on high quality delivery, and who meets the following requirements: Key Responsibilities Lead the frontend developers across a few scrum teams. Play an active role in technology selection, design and implementation of new features. Building reusable components and frontend libraries. Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code. Requirements Experience with a modern JS framework: React, Redux and understand its core principles. Good communication skills Excellent English. A solid understanding of web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Experience with responsive web design. Strong understanding of REST APIs and knowledge of how to interface with them. An eye for design and a mind for UX. Experience with Angular is an advantage. Experience with Typescript is an advantage. Proven experience in managing developers. 7+ years of hands-on design/development experience. B.Sc/BA in Computer Science with high achievements from a reputable academic institution.
