Senior QA Manual Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to lead our quality assurance initiatives and drive testing strategy across our product suite. In this role, you will own the end-to-end testing lifecycle, establish quality standards, and ensure software reliability across web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional leadership, mentor junior engineers, and continuously elevate our QA processes within an Agile environment. Responsibilities: Architect, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test suites based on complex product requirements. Lead end-to-end execution of functional, regression, API, integration, and performance/exploratory testing for web and mobile applications. Manage defect lifecycles and triage processes using tools like Jira and BrowserStack, analyzing quality metrics to identify systemic issues. Mentor and coach junior QA team members, guiding test case design, execution best practices, and career development. Collaborate with product managers, system architects, and senior developers to refine acceptance criteria and evaluate risk early in the development cycle. Drive continuous improvements in QA methodology, tooling, and workflow integration within fast-paced sprint cycles. Requirements: Degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 4+ years of dedicated experience in software quality assurance and test execution. Deep expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Agile/Scrum frameworks. Advanced hands-on experience with test management, bug tracking platforms (Jira, BrowserStack), and API testing tools (e.g., Postman). Proven experience establishing test strategies and mentoring junior or mid-level team members. Exceptional analytical skills, root-cause analysis capabilities, and strong cross-team communication.
