Job Summary We are a strong, fast-moving team developing advanced solutions in one of Palo Alto Networks’ most innovative areas — Identity Security . We’re looking for a talented Frontend Engineer with an AI-first mindset , strong technical skills, and a passion for building high-quality user experiences. You’ll join a team that values clean, scalable architecture, strong engineering practices, and the effective use of AI to improve how we design, build, test, and deliver software. Working closely with Product, UX, and Backend engineers, you’ll build impactful features that help organizations defend against phishing, business email compromise, and evolving email-based threats. You’ll have the opportunity to take end-to-end ownership of features, contribute to technical and architectural decisions, and continuously explore how AI-powered tools and workflows can improve engineering velocity, code quality, and product development . Key Responsibilities Frontend Development: Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and performant frontend applications using modern Angular and TypeScript. AI-First Engineering: Integrate AI-powered tools and workflows into the development lifecycle — from planning and implementation to testing, debugging, code review, and refactoring — to improve productivity and engineering quality. Feature Ownership: Take end-to-end ownership of features and frontend components, from technical design through implementation and delivery. Technical Excellence: Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve frontend performance, maintainability, scalability, and developer experience. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, UX, Backend, and other engineering teams to translate complex cybersecurity requirements into intuitive user experiences. Complex UI & Data Visualization: Research, design, and develop sophisticated user interfaces and data visualization solutions for complex security data. Continuous Innovation: Explore emerging AI technologies and development practices, evaluate their value, and help evolve how the team builds software. Qualifications Required Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on professional frontend development experience. Strong hands-on experience with modern Angular development and current best practices — Must. Strong proficiency with TypeScript and modern JavaScript. Solid command of RxJS , asynchronous data flows, and reactive programming principles. Good understanding of component-based architecture, modular design, and building maintainable, scalable frontend applications . Experience with frontend performance optimization and building responsive, high-quality user interfaces. Hands-on experience using AI-powered development tools and workflows as a meaningful part of the engineering process, including areas such as planning, code generation, testing, debugging, code review, and refactoring. Ability and motivation to continuously adopt new AI capabilities , experiment with new development approaches, and use them to improve engineering productivity and quality.
