Beyond Standard Mechanical Seal Design Engineer This hybrid position can be performed from any Gevasol Group office in Israel or abroad (Teaneck, NJ; Pune, Maharashtra; Voorhout, the Netherlands; Gland, Switzerland.) You will report to our engineering team located in Acre, Israel. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Seal Design Engineer to join our team. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing customized mechanical seal solutions for our clients across various industries. Responsibilities ˆ Conduct research and analysis to understand client requirements and develop innovative mechanical seal designs. ˆ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, manufacturing specialists, and project managers, to ensure seamless execution of projects. ˆ Perform calculations, simulations, and testing to evaluate the performance and reliability of mechanical seal designs. ˆ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mechanical seals, providing timely solutions to our clients. ˆ Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate design concepts, analysis findings, and project progress. ˆ Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to mechanical seals, and incorporate them into our engineering processes. Requirements ˆ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. ˆ Proven experience as a Mechanical Seal Design Engineer. ˆ Proficiency in SolidWorks software for mechanical design and analysis. ˆ Strong knowledge of mechanical seal principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. ˆ Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical seals. ˆ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment. ˆ Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and clients. ˆ Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
