We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to own and strengthen the automation and monitoring backbone of a high-performance, multi-site trading environment. Our infrastructure is on-premise and mission-critical — spanning trading sites across global exchanges — and we run it on Ansible automation, GitLab, and a rich monitoring estate. If you're the kind of engineer who sees a fleet of 188 hosts collecting metrics with no alerting wired up and thinks “I want to fix that,” we'd love to talk. This is a hands-on role for someone who values reliability, clean automation, and observability that actually pages a human when something breaks. What you'll do Own and extend our Ansible/AWX automation estate (200+ job templates driving nightly data distribution, backups, provisioning, and reporting across six time zones) Build out the alerting and observability layer — turn our Zabbix/LibreNMS collection into real, actionable notification and escalation, define maintenance windows, and cut through problem backlogs Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines in GitLab Improve automation reliability and catalogue hygiene — investigate scheduled-job failures and drive down the failure rate Monitor, secure, and optimize production environments (Linux and Windows, on VMware/ESXi and bare metal) Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and network teams to keep delivery stable and observable The right candidate At least 4 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure operations Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) Hands-on experience with configuration management and infrastructure automation — Ansible is central to our stack (AWX/Ansible Tower a strong plus) Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI or similar) Solid Linux systems administration; comfortable across Windows environments too Practical experience running monitoring and alerting tools ( Zabbix, LibreNMS, Prometheus/Grafana, or the ELK stack ) — not just reading dashboards, but wiring up alerting and escalation Ideally experienced with Financial institutions, trading firms, or other mission-critical / high-availability environments On-premise and virtualized infrastructure at scale (VMware/ESXi, IPMI/iDRAC hardware monitoring) Security standards and compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2) Managing automation at scale across multiple sites and time zones Apply Now
