Learn more at www.harmonicinc.com Role Description We're looking for a Sr. DevOps Engineer to help reshape how our infrastructure and delivery pipelines are built - not just automating tasks, but engineering the platforms and AI-assisted tooling that let our engineers ship faster, safer, and with more confidence. You'll report to the DevOps Sr. Manager. This isn't a "keep the lights on" role. You'll take real ownership of how our CI/CD and infrastructure evolve, with the autonomy to decide where AI-assisted tooling (copilots, LLM-driven diagnostics, intelligent automation) can remove toil and accelerate the software delivery lifecycle for the teams that depend on us. If you like turning messy, manual processes into reliable, self-service platforms, you'll feel at home here. Location Working at least 3 days a week from the office in Caesarea What you will be doing: Operate and extend our Kubernetes and container-based platforms, orchestrating deployments across AWS. Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines spanning Debian packaging, container orchestration, and cloud-native deployments — increasingly augmented with AI-assisted testing, anomaly detection, and self-healing automation. Design and build Python modules, tools, and services that power our CI frameworks, packaging processes, and operational automation — with AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot) as a standard part of your workflow for scaffolding, refactoring, and code review. Partner with development teams to diagnose and resolve complex issues across build systems, APIs, and dev environments, leveraging AI-assisted log analysis and root-cause tooling to cut time-to-resolution. Maintain and improve automated build/test pipelines using Jenkins and Argo Workflows. Apply infrastructure-as-code practices with Terraform, ArgoCD, and Helm to keep environments reproducible and easy to reason about. Explore and pilot AI-driven observability and incident-response tooling (e.g., anomaly detection on metrics/logs, automated runbook suggestions) to make our systems more self-diagnosing over time. Champion the use of AI/LLM tooling to eliminate manual, repetitive DevOps work — and share what works so the whole team levels up. What you should have: 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in Linux environments 5+ years of Python development experience Hands-on expertise with Linux, Containers, Kubernetes, and AWS Strong proficiency in Shell scripting and CI/CD pipeline design Proven problem-solving ability and strong communication skills Experience leading Agile projects, including sprints and Scrum ceremonies Curiosity and hands-on comfort with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Claude Code, or similar) is a strong plus — we'll help you level up if you're new to them Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion at Harmonic At Harmonic, we believe that building and nurturing a global team with diverse backgrounds and voices is critical to our success. Together, we achieve excellence through creativity and innovation, build relationships based on integrity and mutual respect, and deliver the highest quality in every aspect of our business for the benefit of our employees, business partners and shareholders. #LI-Hybrid #LI-MU1
