Please note that the team has moved to a new location. The office is now at 121 Menachem Begin Road, Tel Aviv, 61st floor, in the POINT office complex. As per our office policy, you will be required to visit the site at least three times a week. Lenovo Digital Trust Lab is seeking a Staff Agentic AI Security Engineer to own the technical direction of AI-powered security agents and lead their development across the team. This is a senior individual contributor role for an engineer who combines deep security expertise with hands-on experience shipping autonomous agent systems in production. The role involves close collaboration with detection, AppSec, IR, and platform leadership, with direct access to frontier models at scale. Key Responsibilities Define the technical vision and architecture for the agentic security platform — covering planning, orchestration, tool use, memory, and guardrails. Own the most complex, highest-impact security agents end-to-end: from problem framing and prototyping through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement in production. Establish evaluation discipline across the org — including ground-truth datasets, offline/online evals, regression suites, and observability tooling for non-deterministic agent behavior. Benchmark and integrate frontier models (Claude, GPT, Gemini) on security tasks; translate emerging capabilities into concrete product bets. Build shared infrastructure — prompting frameworks, retrieval pipelines, guardrails, cost controls — that the entire team builds on. Partner with internal security stakeholders to identify high-leverage opportunities and translate ambiguous security problems into robust agent designs. Mentor engineers across the team through design reviews, pairing, and setting engineering standards for agent quality, safety, and reliability. Track research, model releases, and emerging techniques; translate relevant developments into a concrete roadmap. Requirements BSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in CS, Cybersecurity, or a related field is an advantage. 5+ years of software development experience with demonstrated senior or staff-level technical ownership across teams or large projects. Deep security engineering foundations: vulnerability research, exploitation techniques across modern web apps and APIs, threat modeling, and security best practices across on-prem, cloud, and SaaS environments. Expert-level hands-on experience designing and shipping autonomous AI agents in production — including planning, tool use, multi-step reasoning, error recovery, and multi-agent architectures. Proficiency with agent orchestration frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, or custom planners), RAG, context engineering, MCP, and related agentic harness patterns. Strong software engineering fundamentals: production-quality Python and at least one additional language, distributed systems, APIs, and data pipelines. Experience building evaluation infrastructure for non-deterministic systems — datasets, benchmarks, regression suites, and observability tooling. Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal) required; strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with security and platform leadership.
