Join us and help shape the future of email security 🚀 As our AI Platform Engineering Manager , you will have a unique opportunity to make an impact on IRONSCALES’ new Agentic Development Life Cycle – taking it from design, to architecture, DevX, velocity improvements, top quality, and highly performant Cybersecurity product built to prevent Phishing attacks at scale. Responsibilities: • Lead the AI Platform development team at IRONSCALES, mentoring team members and AI Guild engineers while owning the next-generation architecture for a large-scale, cloud-based, AI-driven microservices cybersecurity platform. • Collaborate with Development and DevOps teams to plan, design, and build AI platform and AI Harnesses, Agents, Skills, MCPs, and plugins, develop infrastructure components and processes for fast-paced agentic development, ensure the best DevX to enable engineers to deliver fast while ensuring high quality, robust, and secure platform. • Design and review system architecture, introduce best practices, incorporate AI agents, tools, and infrastructure components, review feature designs. • Mentor, hire, and inspire a team to adopt engineering excellence, build on-boarding plans for backend engineers. • Be a subject matter expert on AI architecture, and System architecture, working with agents and LLMs, large scale performance, and optimization. • Master AI Platform roadmap, identify opportunities and requirements, build plans, and lead to successful delivery; measure, improve, and communicate effectively risks and mitigations. Requirements Must Haves: • 3+ years of Infrastructure or Platform Team management experience, people management - must. • Proven experience in AI Driven Software Engineering , agentic development lifecycle, building skills, MCPs, and AI agents. • Experienced in planning and leading projects in Agile manner, pragmatic, business-oriented, and team player. • Experienced with modern Cloud and software stack , CI/CD, DevX, Micro-Services architecture, Kubernetes, high scale and low latency processing. • 8+ years of backend development experience, including at least 2 years in Python. • Experienced with message brokers , synchronous and asynchronous processing, relational and non-relational databases. • BSc or BA in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
