QA Validation Engineer
We're looking for an experienced, talented SW QA validation engineer to join our team! Applied Materials impacts everybody's lives: we take part in practically every chip manufactured in the world! What will you be doing? * Lead the SW validation and holistic testing of complex systems, including advanced algorithms and software which collaborate with a mix of state-of-the-art optics, scanning electron microscopes, lasers and motion systems. * Collaborate closely with product managers, field engineers and architects to develop a prioritized test plan that addresses technological challenges while meeting the precise needs of our customers and release timelines. * Conduct application testing, including web interfaces and microservices, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability across distributed components. * Perform testing and troubleshooting at various complexity levels and operate multidisciplinary systems. * Work closely with automation developers and contribute to the automation development processes. * Review spec requirements to ensure clarity for the development team and influence the team for effective development and coverage planning. What you should have: * B.Sc in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.). * 5+ years of proven QA or validation experience in the field of multidisciplinary systems R&D. * Experience in leading holistic qual of complex domains. * Excellent collaboration capabilities, with different disciplines and the ability to work independently and in a team. * Experience working with event-driven systems and micro-services architecture – Advantage. * Experience working in a scrum with agile methodologies – Advantage. * FAB work experience - Advantage. * Strong English oral and written communication skills, presenting skills.
