Linux Systems Engineer
As a Linux Systems Engineer, you will: Be in charge of effective provisioning, installation, configuration and maintenance of complex IT systems (hardware, software, cloud and all related infrastructure) across Linux and Windows Design, implement and manage Linux and Windows based systems, ensuring they run smoothly Monitor the system daily, enhance system performance, ensure high availability and reliability and respond immediately to security or usability concerns Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues encountered by users Automate routine tasks and processes with popular scripting languages, particularly using Ansible and Python Collaborate with the team to define needs, benefits, technical strategy, analysis and design to ship new features and maximize system efficiency Implement security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure Efficiently use Linux and Windows consoles for system administration tasks If you have: At least 7 years of experience in IT Infrastructure At least 5 years of experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux-based environments At least 5 years of experience as Windows Sys admin At least 3 years of experience in the infrastructure and management of Microsoft Active Directory, MS Exchange, DHCP/DNS servers, SQL Server, IIS and Group Policy Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Ruby and NGINX) and Linux-based applications (Web Servers, Databases, proxies, etc.) Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Ansible for automation tasks Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers and TCP/IP) Experience in mobile device management solutions Experience in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and identity management solutions Experience in data security products (Microsoft security/third-party applications) Experience in managing enterprise backup platforms and Virtual Environment (VMWare) Experience in high-availability design (failover systems and data replication) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently Team-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills Ability to self-learn new subjects or systems It would be great if you also have: Professional certification in Linux, Microsoft, and/or AWS technologies (e.g., MCSE/MCSA, RHCE, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) Experience in various open source systems (Linux systems) Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, K8S) Experience with monitoring systems (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, CloudWatch) Experience in managing storage Platforms (NetApp/Dell/HPE) Experience designing, deploying, and managing infrastructure in AWS (Amazon Web Services) Practical experience in CyberArk, SCCM, Jamf
