The Role We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Israel. This isn't a traditional backend role — you'll build end-to-end agentic systems that operate robots in real environments, from high-level task reasoning down to physical-world execution. Key Responsibilities Own core decision-making and logic that determines robot behavior Build and maintain end-to-end systems from backend services and APIs, to real-time robot execution Design and implement agentic architectures — state/memory management and model integration Select, integrate, and optimize models for real-time robot compute Debug and improve live systems based on real-world behavior, not just logs Own the full lifecycle: prototyping → deployment → iteration Work closely with AI, robotics, and product teams to ensure systems are robust, safe, and actually work in production Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent degree) Solid systems fundamentals: OS, networking, concurrency, distributed systems Comfortable working across backend, infrastructure, AI, and real-world constraints Proven end-to-end production systems experience Strong Python skills (or similar), clean, production-quality code Experience building AI agents or LLM-based workflows in real applications High ownership mindset Nice to Have On-device / edge model deployment (GPU) Robotics or distributed systems background Experience with physical-world systems Why Join Ship code that runs daily on real robots doing real work Small, high-ownership team building something genuinely new Help define how humans, AI, and robots work together
