Penetration Tester Team Lead

Role Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated penetration testing team leader to manage and guide a team of penetration testers while ensuring the delivery of high-quality security assessments. The primary focus of this role is team leadership — driving performance, mentoring professionals, and shaping methodologies — while occasionally engaging in hands-on penetration testing when needed. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and support a team of penetration testers. Manage client engagements, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Review and approve the penetration testing reports. Research and develop new tools, scripts, and methodologies to enhance internal testing capabilities. Contribute to the company’s knowledge base, training materials, and process improvements. Requirements 2+ years of hands-on experience in penetration testing (web, mobile, API, and cloud infrastructure). Proven experience leading or mentoring a small technical team, or strong leadership potential. Deep understanding of application security concepts, including the OWASP methodology, and strong familiarity with cloud environments and their security challenges. Strong communication and reporting skills — able to translate technical findings into clear business impact. Fluent in English (spoken and written). Experience with client-facing communication or project ownership. Passion for continuous learning and innovation in cybersecurity. Certifications such as OSCP, eWPT, and BSCP — a strong advantage.
