DevOps Engineer
Most security platforms drown analysts in alerts. Axia Security does the opposite. Our AI understands context, prioritizes what matters, and gives organizations real control over their sensitive data. We're building a platform that combines machine learning, LLMs, and deep security engineering to deliver context-aware protection at enterprise scale. We're hiring a DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure that makes it all possible. The pipelines, the cloud architecture, the observability, and the reliability that a security company's customers demand. This is a high-ownership role. You'll work directly with the founders and engineering team, make infrastructure decisions from day one, and build systems that need to be fast, secure, and always on. What You'll Do Own and evolve the cloud infrastructure powering a real-time, AI-driven security platform Design and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS), ensuring reliability and scalability across all services Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Python and Node.js services, from commit to production Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, keeping environments consistent and auditable Implement and own observability across the stack: logging, metrics, alerting, and tracing for AI pipelines and real-time workflows Own secrets management, IAM policies, and network security, ensuring the infrastructure meets the bar a security company must clear Partner with backend and frontend engineers to improve deployment workflows and system resilience What We're Looking For 5+ years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience in production cloud environments Deep hands-on expertise with AWS (ECS/EKS, RDS, ElastiCache, MSK, VPC, IAM, and related services) Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock, deploying and managing AI/ML workloads in production Strong Kubernetes experience, deploying and managing containerized workloads at scale Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code across multiple environments Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar) Solid Docker experience, building and optimizing container images for production Experience with observability tooling (Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar) Strong security mindset, practical experience with secrets management, IAM, and network security best practices Nice to Have Experience with message queue infrastructure (Kafka/MSK, RabbitMQ) Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio or similar) Experience supporting SOC2 or ISO27001 compliance processes GCP or Azure experience Background in cybersecurity or securing infrastructure for enterprise customers Experience with ML/AI workloads and the infrastructure patterns they require Why Join Us The problem is real and urgent.
