Job Description We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join the hardware and mechanics team of a multidisciplinary loitering munition system . In this role you will own the design, development, and support of mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies, mechanisms and components of the overall system. This position requires a combination of strong technical expertise, practical orientation, and system-level thinking , ensuring that designs are both innovative and manufacturable. You will work closely with system engineering, hardware and software teams to deliver high-quality solutions from concept to serial production. Key Responsibilities Full design and development of mechanical and electro-mechanical subassemblies and assemblies, from concept through serial production. Support and ensure mechanical integration with electronic components, including PCBs, sensors, and other interfaces. Preparation of models, drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation according to company standards and manufacturing requirements. Conduct tests, proof-of-concept validations, and field trials as part of the system development process. Support the transition from development to serial production, coordinating with manufacturing, quality, and acceptance testing teams. Collaborate closely with system engineering, hardware, software, testing and production teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance with system requirements. Apply practical, hands-on problem-solving skills to implement engineering solutions effectively in real-world conditions. Requirements B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory (M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – Advantage) 7+ years of experience in mechanical design and development of multidisciplinary systems Relevant background in the defense industry – Mandatory Demonstrated experience in mechanical design of airborne platforms or UAV systems – Strong Advantage Experience in electro-mechanical and mechanisms design, including motors, sensors, and motion systems – strong advantage. Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks – Advantage) Familiarity with FEA tools – Advantage High practical orientation with the ability to implement engineering solutions in real-world conditions. Strong system-level perspective and capability to analyze mechanical interfaces with other subsystems. Ability to work independently and in a team, with excellent interpersonal skills. Willingness to work in the field and support on-site testing. Fluent in English (spoken and written).
