Finance & Operations Manager

Position: At Sightec, we develop real-time visual autonomy and navigation systems for UAVs operating in GPS-denied environments. Our solutions are deployed by customers worldwide across defense and HLS sectors. We are looking for a Junior- Mid Level, hands-on Finance and Operations professional, to lead financial activities and drive key processes across the business. This is a finance-first role with strong involvement in hardware procurement, supplier management, regulatory processes, and day-to-day execution. Key Responsibilities: Lead core financial operations, including cost tracking, pricing support, and ongoing financial workflows Prepare and manage documentation for grants and funding applications Build and maintain financial tracking models, including budgets, cost analysis, and operational reporting Lead hardware procurement processes, including supplier sourcing, negotiations, and ongoing relationship management Manage inventory of hardware and ensure availability for operations and sales Support after-sales operations and provide operational support for customer needs Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers, including negotiations, payments tracking, and ongoing management Work with regulatory bodies and support compliance processes, ensuring all requirements are met Manage contracts with customers and suppliers, including coordination and follow-up Drive day-to-day execution across financial and operational processes, ensuring things move forward and get done Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Law, or a related field 3–7 years of experience in a hands-on Finance Operations / Business Operations role within a small tech company or startup Strong financial orientation with hands-on experience in financial workflows, budgeting, or cost tracking Experience working with regulatory bodies and compliance requirements Experience preparing documents, reports, or grant submissions Strong Excel skills with high level of comfort working with data, tracking, and financial models (advanced level required) Ability to work independently, ask questions, and build understanding in a dynamic environment High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without losing accuracy Motivated, curious, and eager to learn the defence business and industry in depth- This is a hands-on role requiring execution and ownership of day-to-day work, not just coordination Advantages: Experience in hardware, robotics, UAV, or defense environments Experience with grant submissions Experience working with regulatory or compliance processes Experience in supply chain or logistics Who We Are: We are a small, focused team building real-world systems that operate far beyond the lab.
