Mechanical Engineer
Description Airobotics is a leading company specializing in the development and manufacturing of autonomous drone systems. In this role, you will be part of the mechanical engineering team responsible for leading projects end-to-end, including mechanical design, drafting, design verification testing, collaboration with internal departments, external suppliers, and supporting development and production phases. Responsibilities Mechanical design of airborne and ground assemblies, including preparation of manufacturing and assembly drawings Leading mechanical projects from requirements definition through customer delivery Managing and supporting development and production through subcontractors Working closely with system engineers, engineering, integration teams, suppliers, and subcontractors Writing design reviews, assembly instructions, and supporting design verification / feasibility tests Solving engineering challenges under tight schedules and technological constraints Requirements B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution 5+ years of experience in mechanical design (must) At least 3 years of experience developing multi-disciplinary products Full and proven proficiency in SolidWorks (must) Strong hands-on capabilities (must) Experience designing products intended for serial / mass production Experience with a variety of manufacturing technologies: 3D printing, CNC machining, plastic and metallic materials Strong teamwork skills, high interpersonal communication, organizational abilities, self-learning skills, and the ability to work under pressure Advantages Experience working with PDM systems Experience designing airborne systems, preferably in the drone industry Background in defense companies or participation in defense-related projects – significant advantage
