DevOps Engineer
Description The DevOps Engineer at Lab42 is a hands-on engineering role focused on building, automating, and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments. Working closely with the DevOps team members, the role contributes to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, containerized workloads, and DevSecOps practices that support the company’s products. The position involves daily work with Linux and Windows environments, Docker and Kubernetes, CI/CD platforms (such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD), infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible), and scripting languages including Python and Bash as needed. DevOps Engineers collaborate closely with R&D, Product,QA and our customers to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient delivery of software while maintaining high standards of infrastructure security, observability, and operational excellence. DevOps Engineer Position Lab42 is a cutting-edge cyber company developing advanced cyber intelligence and security solutions designed to meet complex and evolving technological challenges in the cybersecurity landscape. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our growing DevOps team. This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role focused on building reliable infrastructure, automating processes, and supporting secure and scalable product delivery. You will work closely with the DevOps team, R&D, Product, QA and our customers to support development throughout the software lifecycle while implementing modern DevOps and DevSecOps practices. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments. • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable reliable, automated, and secure software delivery. • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible. • Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes. • Automate operational tasks and workflows using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. • Monitor system performance, availability, and security, and participate in troubleshooting and incident resolution. • Contribute to the implementation of DevSecOps practices and secure infrastructure configuration. • Collaborate closely with R&D, QA, and Product teams to support development workflows and deployment processes. • Support both Linux and Windows environments, including virtualized infrastructure. • Participate in continuous improvement of DevOps processes, tooling, and operational standards. Required Qualifications • 2+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or a related role. • Strong hands-on experience working with Linux environments and familiarity with Windows infrastructure. • Experience working with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. • Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD. • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible. • Scripting and automation experience using Python, Bash, or PowerShell. • Hands-on experience with networking and infrastructure fundamentals, including VPNs, firewalls, security groups, and access controls. • Familiarity with modern infrastructure security concepts, including identity and access management and vulnerability management. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
