The position requires deep familiarity with Linux and Windows environments, containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, CI/CD platforms including Jenkins, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible. The Senior DevOps Engineer also plays a key role in mentoring other engineers, improving automation and reliability, and ensuring secure and efficient delivery pipelines that support the company’s product lines. Senior DevOps Engineer Position Lab42 is a cutting-edge cyber company developing advanced cyber intelligence and security solutions designed to meet complex and evolving technological challenges in the cybersecurity landscape. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing DevOps team and take a leading role in building and scaling our infrastructure and automation capabilities. This is a highly hands-on technical role that involves designing infrastructure solutions, driving automation initiatives, and contributing to DevSecOps practices across the organization. The role requires strong collaboration skills with other DevOps engineers, R&D teams, QA and security stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable delivery of our products. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments. • Architect and improve CI/CD pipelines that enable reliable, automated, and auditable software delivery. • Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible. • Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes. • Lead complex DevOps initiatives including infrastructure modernization, automation improvements, and platform reliability enhancements. • Implement and support DevSecOps practices including vulnerability management, secure configuration, and access control policies. • Develop automation and operational tooling using Python, Bash, or PowerShell. • Support both Linux and Windows environments, including virtualized infrastructure. • Troubleshoot complex production and infrastructure issues and contribute to improving system reliability and observability. • Collaborate closely with R&D, QA, and Product teams to support development workflows and deployment processes. • Mentor DevOps engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing, documentation, and engineering best practices. Required Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or platform engineering roles. • Strong hands-on experience managing Linux environments and familiarity with Windows infrastructure. • Proven experience working with container technologies and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes). • Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD. • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible. • Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell. • Solid understanding of networking and infrastructure fundamentals including VPNs, firewalls, security groups, and access control mechanisms. • Experience implementing secure infrastructure practices including IAM, vulnerability management, and secure container configurations. • Ability to take ownership, lead technical initiatives and mentor other engineers.
