Automation Engineer
Description eyesAtop builds a multi-drone control platform for safe operations, clear situational awareness, and real-time decision support in dynamic, high-risk environments. Our tech supports military teams with a safe, easy-to-use operating system, creating impact every day in the field. What you’ll do Build and lead the automation domain as the first Automation Engineer at eyesAtop Design and implement automation infrastructure and test frameworks for our multi-drone platform Work closely with Product, drone operators and R&D to identify critical user flows and testing needs Develop automated tests for complex software-hardware integrations Integrate with existing simulators and create reliable testing environments without requiring physical drone flights Drive automation strategy, tooling decisions and testing best practices across the company Requirements 5+ years of experience in Automation, Integration, QA Automation or a related field Experience building automation infrastructure and frameworks from scratch Experience testing hardware-software integrated systems Familiarity with Java Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives end-to-end Nice to Have Experience as a technical lead or sole automation engineer Experience with drones, robotics, simulators, or real-time systems Experience with CI/CD and automated testing pipelines
