Regional Project Engineer

Responsibilities Engineering Timeline & Deliverables: Ownership of the project's engineering schedule and deliverables. Integrating and advancing design across various disciplines according to project phases, including managing external consultants and internal resources. Technical Procurement & Innovation: Technical management of procurement processes, pricing, budget estimations, and engagements. Leading innovation and technology implementation. Risk & Commercial Support: Identifying and analyzing risk levels; providing professional support for commercial decision-making processes. Energy Simulations: Performing energy simulations and detailed analysis of generation systems (PV, Wind) and energy storage. Power Systems Design: Managing the design of high-voltage (HV) and ultra-high-voltage (UHV) power systems, including active participation in discussions with the System Operator and the Israel Electric Corporation (IEC). External Stakeholder & Regulatory Management: Ongoing collaboration with external planning and regulatory bodies, including supporting project development before planning and building committees, government ministries, and private entities. Work Environment: The position is office-based but combines field work and project support throughout all stages. Requirements Education: B.Sc. in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred) – Must . Experience: 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer in an engineering firm – Must . Industry Experience: Experience in the design or construction of energy generation and storage facilities. Grid Experience: Experience in designing ultra-high-voltage (UHV) facilities – Advantage . Process Management: Experience in managing and advancing complex design processes. Languages: High proficiency in English (speaking, writing, and reading) – Must . Software Skills: Experience working with CAD systems ( Must ), PVsyst ( Must ), WindPro ( Advantage ), Digsilent ( Advantage ). Soft Skills & Core Competencies: Broad systemic vision (holistic perspective). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Mental flexibility and adaptability to changes. Initiative and a strong sense of personal responsibility. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work effectively with multiple interfaces and stakeholders. Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
