Configuration Management Student

This role will support the implementation and maintenance of Product Data Management (PDM) processes and product configurations throughout the product lifecycle. The position offers hands-on experience in configuration management, product lifecycle management (PLM), engineering change control, and product documentation within a regulated medical device environment. Responsibilities: Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's PDM system and related engineering processes. Support migration of engineering data, drawings, and BOMs into the PDM system. Manage and maintain product configurations, Bills of Materials (BOMs), part structures, and engineering documentation. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and traceability across engineering systems. Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain teams to maintain controlled product information. Assist in establishing and improving configuration management procedures and best practices. Requirements 4th year student in Mechanical Engineering, Availability for 3 workdays per week Proficiency in SolidWorks Understanding of engineering drawings, product structures, and BOM management. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinking. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. High proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) Hands-on, self-motivated, and independent with strong problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail High self-learning capability Advantages: Familiarity with PDM/PLM systems such as SolidWorks PDM Knowledge of Configuration Management principles.
