Today, more than half of AT&T's backbone runs on DriveNets' Network Cloud. DriveNets has raised over $1 billion in funding to date, including a $410 million Series D round at an $8.5 billion valuation. The Role We are looking for a Product Manager, OSS Platform to build platform capabilities that make DriveNets' next-generation OSS intelligent, safe, extensible, and deployable — working alongside our existing platform owners, including the PM who owns the workflow and automation engine. This role is for a strong technical product builder from adjacent software worlds — AI products, workflow and automation platforms, enterprise SaaS, DevOps, observability, security operations, developer platforms, API/integration platforms — who does not need to be a networking expert on day one. Depending on where you fit and what we need, you may own areas spanning the platform's AI experiences, governance and trust, the connector and developer platform, and lower-networking operational areas of the product — building on top of, and in partnership with, our core automation platform rather than duplicating it. You will partner closely with our OSS Network Domain PMs, who own the networking semantics — and we will actively teach you networking to the level you need: services, planning, ISP-site and operator context, and what configuration, routers, and a NOS are. You are not expected to master device- and NOS-level networking; you are expected to build great platform product on top of correct domain models. This is a builder PM role. The goal is to turn repeated operator and customer needs into reusable platform capabilities, clear contracts, and safe automation — not customer-specific screens, scripts, integrations, or forks. Responsibilities Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and epics for your platform area(s). Shape AI-native experiences across the platform: AI-assisted workflow creation and explanation, natural-language investigation, AI troubleshooting and debugging, incident summarization, and recommendation review. Define governance and trust : users, roles, and permissions; versioning, publishing, testing/simulation, and rollback; audit trail; and AI explainability, feedback, and evaluation signals. Define the integration and developer platform : connector framework for external systems (inventory, telemetry, alarms/events, NMS/EMS, controllers, orchestrators, ITSM, BSS/CRM/order systems, customer tools); northbound/southbound APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and event subscriptions; adapter lifecycle (creation, certification, versioning, deployment, monitoring, upgrade, deprecation); integration observability; and developer experience (docs, playgrounds, sandboxes, reference integrations). Help define human-in-the-loop and automation-safety experiences — when the system recommends, asks for approval, or executes, and how users understand risk, confidence, evidence, and blast radius — in close partnership with the workflow engine owner. Own lower-networking operational areas as needed (for example workforce/field management), applying the same platform and productization thinking. Partner with the workflow and automation engine PM where AI, governance, and integrations build on the engine — extending and complementing it rather than re-owning it. Translate operator and customer needs into reusable platform capabilities, not one-offs, and help prevent deployments from becoming custom professional-services projects. Partner with OSS Network Domain PMs so platform behavior is grounded in correct service, resource, topology, state, and action semantics. Work closely with R&D, architects, and design to define product behavior, user flows, state models, contracts, edge cases, failure modes, acceptance criteria, and MVP tradeoffs. Use modern AI tools day-to-day to accelerate discovery, PRD/epic writing, prototyping, API/mapping design, competitive analysis, and release readiness. Requirem
